I started watching tennis because of Roger. It was beautiful to see him play on the court—so elegant, so effortless, like dancing.

At the same time, I fell in love with Rafa's character—his persistence and his attitude on the court. He never gave up.

Nole was the last one to grow on me, but not for any particular reason. I think he's always been the villain of a badly told story, like the Cristiano/Messi comparison in fútbol. In tennis, people set the standard of the 'perfect player' with Roger and Rafa… They never broke a racket; they always behaved and kept their composure on the court.

But Novak has always been different. He's one of the greatest athletes to ever play the game, and he's proven himself to be the best—the numbers speak for themselves. The things I've seen him do in the last couple of years are unprecedented. I felt I needed to make a tribute to Nole, to the guy who never stopped believing in his talent and devoted his soul to making his dreams come true.
